Death Penalty

I'm going to share my (views) on it here in the state of FLORIDA. First off I don't agree with it at all. Let me ask you people a serious question think about this before you answer it. If a male raped and murdered your mother, will giving him the death penalty bring her back?

I was told by some of my family members this is what happened to my mother. Is it true? I can't say for sure.

But, what I can say and will say. To take a life when a life has been taken is revenge, not justice point blank. Now, I don't support their violent acts but, I feel they should get a (life sentence) without no chance of parole. To me killing the person is an easy way out.

On top of that Department of Corrections staff has executed a lot of innocent inmates in the past too. Now how can they justify this type of behaviour?

When loved ones our so-called friends get murdered yes, it hurts us mentally, physically, etc. Yet I can't accept the judgement that their killers deserve to be put to death.

This merely perpetuates the tragic, unending cycle of violence that destroys our hope for a decent society.

I'm open for any opinions and comments:
