Dear readers, 6-29-13

I have been struggling to find the best expression of my thoughts, and in all honesty none of my words seem to equal what I want to say. My solution to the problem is simple - I'm just going to bare my whole self to you and pray for responses. Let me begin with the basics.

My name is Amondo Duckworth, I'm 33 years old, stand 5ft9, weigh 175 pounds, have dark brown eyes, low cu hair, and a medium build. I have been incarcerated since 2006 for party to a crime of armed robbery - I'm eligible to be released in 2013, but if I'm faced with the worst case scenario I will be out in 2017, in either case my main goal is to better myself, so that i can better my family and community. Since my incarceration I have enrolled in college and taken various courses - macroeconomics, introductory psychology, sociology and valuing diversity just to name a few. At this point in my life I feel I have reached a level of maturity that has prepared me to search for that special foundation that we all seek at some point. I'm searching for a meaningful friendship/relationship, and I know that my current situation can and maybe a deterrent, but I'm asking - no! begging you to see past my location and crime, and into the soul of the man behind the words. I want you to learn about me, as I hope to learn about you; I promise that you won't regret getting to know me - I'm not asking for you to help me financially or anything of the sort, all I'm asking of you is a few minutes out of your day and a few words of truth, wisdom, understanding and life.
