This is De'anna. This is a small writing in regards to Memorial Day on May 26th, 2014.

I do honor those men and women who died in active military service. They lost their lives in the line of duty to protect us in this country here called America. I can't forget about the U.S. troops over in Afghanistan and Kuwait. Fighting in the wars for our country takes a lot of willpower plus desire of one's own life.

They have ended the war over in Iraq a couple of years ago. I can't wait until they end them all.

The men and women in the U.S. troops need to return alive and safe to be with their families over here in America. I'm truly glad a day was set aside for them in history. They have truly earned it down through the years. Ten to be exact! Without these brave and strong U.S. troops from the past and present fighting for our country America, we would be in a world of trouble. I salute them all, dead and alive.

Their deeds, mankind should never forget. I sure won't. I read about all the things they have to endure while risking their lives for this country. My heart goes out to both men and women.

I am incarcerated at this moment, but I can't imagine what it's like fighting in a WAR. I wish I had the address to the place overseas where the wars take place. I would send them a letter of appreciation because those U.S. troops are not forgotten by me. That's a serious and dangerous task to perform.

President Barack H. Obama said he ended the war in Iraq. He stated he wanted to end them all by 2016, before his second term in the White House is up. We'll have to wait and see. I hope he can do that. He's only one man: his whole administration will have to back him up as well. It's called U.N.I.T.Y. from the Democratic party.

Please post my writing on the blog if possible. I want to thank you and your staff at Between the Bars for being there for me all these years. Showing me support and giving me guidance. This is my way to vent behind these evil walls with evil creatures around me 24/7. I am open to comments or opinions; it doesn't matter.

Happy Memorial Days, friends.

Yours truly,
