Support the Truth
On my last post "Mindful Prisoner 6-10-14, a very strong and courageous young woman named Ashley wrote a powerful comment. What she wrote is truth in every sense of the word, the words in her comment are more relevant and meaningful than anything I have ever written, and when I read them my world stopped. Because I am Ashley's father, I am the the one responsible for the pain she expresses. For this reason I will always hold her painful honest words in my heart, where they must do their work.
Because I cannot respond to Ashley, what I ask of anyone who reads and supports my blog is to read what Ashley wrote and know that this is the truth. This is the courageous testimony of a young woman struggling with burdens and pains that were never meant to be hers to bear.I can do all the healing and growth in the world, I can write inspiring posts but none of it can lessen her pain, and for that and more I am forever ashamed.
Please if you can support Ashley in her courage to speak the truth, I cannot respond to her comment but I know my readers support the healing and growth of anyone with the heart to speak the truth.

She is beautiful. She looks eccentric (in an artsy way - just as she described). Almost a bit 'Marilyn Monroe-y' (that's how I see it ;). But much more interesting than Monroe - she is wearing a blue shirt and has lots of pretty rings on her fingers.
She is wearing a colorful hat.
She sounds like she is in a lot of pain right now, but I wanted to say that in the middle of all of that - and just looking at her picture - she looks so poetic and bright - like a brilliant ball of light.
