God's Will
Hello, everyone. I would like to share a revelation God gave me yesterday. I have been a servant of Father God for a little over a year now, and I'm in no way a Bible scholar. So everything I'm sharing with you is a revelation from our Father.
Let me give you my testimony. Since God stepped in and healed me of my mental illness, I have had a strong prayer life. But I stubbornly refused to pray for God to help me in a material way. I always prayed for others to be blessed, but I believed that God knows my needs and will automatically provide them for me. Therefore, if I didn't have it, I didn't need it.
I got moved to a new building and started talking to a Christian brother. During our discussion he found out that I had no one in the free world who would support me financially. Later, I told him that I had given up my hustling to honor God. He said that if I prayed for God to give me money on my account, then he would. He then showed me several scriptures that showed me that it's true. One was Jesus saying, "Anything you ask the Father, in my name, that he shall give it to you." So I prayed, basically telling God that I wanted to be righteous in his eyes in the eyes of those watching me and asked for him to touch someone's heart so that they would support me financially. Five days later, I found out I had $125 on my account. :)
Of course I wanted to glorify God by sharing my testimony, and the news of God's love and blessing spread across the unit like wildfire. This led to a brother coming to me who was dealing with a lot of pain. He wanted prayer and counseling. It quickly became obvious to me that at the end of every prayer, this brother was doubting God's willingness to heal him. He would say, "But if you don't heal me, if you are using this pain to test me, they will be done." I spent over an hour trying to show this brother that God wants to do things for us, to bless us so that he will be glorified in the eyes of those who haven't given their lives to him yet.
I became frustrated and went to take a shower. While in the shower I prayed for God to forgive me for becoming frustrated and for my inability to help this brother. I felt like I had failed God. It was in the shower that God gave me this revelation in the Lord's prayer, the prayer that Jesus gave the Apostles.
It says, "Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
Now I ask you this simple question: Do any of you believe that those who are spending eternity in heaven will ever want for anything? God's Will is for us to live on earth as if we are already in heaven, because we are already in the presence of Father God.
Brothers and sisters, I am asking you to be a light to the world. Submit yourselves to the will of God so that he may be glorified in the things he does for and through you. As I said, I'm a baby Christian so I had to go to others for the scriptures that I will put at the end of this to emphasize this topic through God's words.
I love you all and God loves you all. May God bless you and keep you all the days in your lives. :)
Love and peace :)
