The Truth

Let me tell you about some of the foul things that take place at Florida State Prison (FSP). That's all it is, a name—nothing more.

First off, they love to entice the inmates to combat against one another, meaning going around telling other inmates, "Oh! The guy in cell 1125 is a snitch!" Or they will say, "He told me he wants to fight you." Straight out lying.

Another thing I can't stand—and it happens daily here in this building: when it comes time for an inmate to attend his institutional call-outs on the wing or off, it doesn't matter. The correctional officers will try to bribe the inmate with cigarettes, chewing dip, chicken sandwiches from the staff canteen—anything not to go. And majority of the time, he'll fall for it because he is trying to support his bad habit and it makes their job easier.

They will give you this contraband today, get mad at you tomorrow, and come and kick the cell in your assigned to and take it all back. Now what do you call this? I call it a double-cross on the security's behalf. And trust me, it goes on a lot here. It's a constant battle between the correctional officers and inmates in the state of Florida.

And their error—I want to point out these correctional staff—will write you a disciplinary report (DR) at any given moment. You file and try to appeal the DR. Your appeal vanishes. Now you're stuck with the disciplinary confinement time. If your argument is dead to the right, they will find a way to defeat the inmate. The system is set up this way.

So, my question is—how can I win like that against my oppressors? :(

I'm writing you all this because I have, and still do, experience this type of treatment on a daily basis inside the walls of this state facility, FSP. A lot of inmates can't read nor write, and most of them are afraid to speak about the injustice that's amongst us. But I'm not! I know you all in the outside world are in a high position to accommodate us in wicked places like this. We can't do it alone! All I'm looking for is justice for this injustice.

Well, this is MY HEART.

Pearl Harbor Group

Being a connoisseur of history. I am familiar with the sneak attack on the navy in World War II. It was true, one of the best aproned attacks on our country in war. Japan had the jump, which they end up getting the snorties end of the stick. This opened America's eyes to a lot, causing her to upgrade the systems for those types of planes to never happen again. There were a lot of brave men who lost their lives.

Which brings me to this article dealing with the Pearl Harbor Group. I never knew anything about it, but I respect their accomplishments. But I also understand why the group is going down in numbers. I mean, that was 1941 and today is 2011.

Then when it comes to the less money coming, well, this country is suffering from an economy bounce back. Meaning all is slow at this moment, but still the honor still is being kept with respect. That alone is the most beloved thing. Being that so many other historical events from the past is forgotten. But far as the members of the group, they're falling away! Human flesh only lasts so long before it returns back to said.

But their legacy, respect, honor, and accomplishments will live forever in great memory. Hawaii has and will still honor the team!

CANDY

Candy is a sweet treat
Which we love to eat
Candy is a real delicacy in the South
And it will melt in our mouths
Candy can be given as a gift
But the person must be swift
Candy is used to stimulate mankind
So we must not be blind
Candy is made in a soft and hard form
And I passed it all out in the college dorm
I love candy
It comes in handy

I'm open to any opinions and comments.
