"In Remembrance of Trayvon Martin"

April 12th 2012

Another fatal homicide here in Florida. On February 26th 2012 that rainy Sunday night, Trayvon was returning from a store with a pack of Skittles candy in his pocket and a tea with a hoodie on.

When Zimmerman approached him, a tussle ensued and George Zimmerman, 28, allegedly shot the unarmed youth in the chest with a 9mm handgun, Crump says. The family's lawyer Benjamin Crump says Trayvon and his dad, both of Miami, were visiting the dad's girlfriend in the Sanford, FL-area gated community.

Trayvon parents are looking at this as a (hate crime). Sybrina Fulton, 46, Trayvon mother, led the campaign of his arrest, George Zimmerman, but on the flip side of this she stated she believe the murder of her son was an accident, she believes things just got out of hand that night.

Trayvon Martin parents took their fight to Capitol Hill. Reverend Al Sharpton and Reverend Jesse Jackson held marches/rallies, they want justice served in Trayvon death. State Attorney Angela Corey has been investigating the case of Trayvon Martin from Sanford, Florida total of three weeks now.

Former Neighborhood Watch captain George Zimmerman is expected in first appearance court April 12th 2012, time is at 1:30pm. Okay, it was held at the appointed time, results as it stands. The judge said he will have another arraignment on May 29th 2012. His lawyer, Mark O'Mara, did not ask the judge for bail as of this point. But he did not choose to bail out at this time. He plead not guilty under the stand your ground law. But as it stands right now.

He's facing second-degree murder charges. The law is justifying another homicide. My belief it's definitely a racial criminal act now. Remember, George Zimmerman was never arrested at all. He turned himself in to the Seminole County Jail in Sanford, Florida. State Attorney Angela Corey is seeking for him second degree murder, she said that's the most he can get for the murder.

But that doesn't mean he'll receive that sentence.

George Zimmerman father was a (judge). Trayvon has been dead forty-eight days today April 12th 2012. Bottom line, he is the "VICTIM", and we can't get his side of this story. George Zimmerman stated when he got out of his car, Trayvon walked up to him and punched him in the face, knocked him down and started beating his head on the sidewalk, that sounds insane, me. It was discovered that George Zimmerman is white/Hispanic biracial.

I don't know what actually happened, I only know what I did read in my Jet magazine and heard on my radio, National Public Radio (NPR), 89.9, while sitting in this cell. But I'll say this, it's got to come to an end.

Violence/murder is "NEVER" the answer to a problem. If a black officer killed a white teenager. He would be stripped of everything and thrown under the jail, no question asked, lawyer or not, that's the truth.

George Zimmerman deserve whatever he gets in the court of law today and coming in the near future. He didn't think, he just reacted, that gets folks in trouble all the time. If he's convicted, he faces life in prison.

There's has been other cases like this (one) in the past, let me name a (few): Amadou Diallo (22 years old) February 4, 1999, Sean Bell (23 years old) November 25th 2006, Oscar Grant (22 years old) January 1, 2009, James Craig Anderson (48 years old). And majority of these officers got acquitted for all these African-Americans males murders, to me it looks like a racist issue. Trayvon Martin was only (17 years old) before his murder. Trayvon parents Martin, 45, Sybrina Fulton, 46, are living in the Miami area and are in Washington DC at this present time. Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon mother, just wanted an arrest. They got one through State Attorney "Angela Corey". George Zimmerman still saying his malicious act was in self-defense.

When does the madness stop? I believe if you kill someone, you should be punished, no doubt about it.

I'm grateful this man is incarcerated. I don't care how he got there. He doesn't need to be out in society.

Before he turned himself in he was in hiding. Now Trayvon mother Sybrina believe George Zimmerman stopped her son and killed him on that night. The case is bizarre at this standpoint. Trayvon liked sports and was aspired to attend Florida A&M University in 2013. His dreams are over now. "It's unfair to him." Due to his murder by George Zimmerman. Martin, 45, Trayvon father said he didn't feel like Sanford Police Department did a thorough investigation in his son homicide.

The only reason I'm speaking out about this tragedy is because I want justice served at all cost. For George Zimmerman vicious act towards Trayvon Martin. I'm praying for Trayvon Martin family. I really want to hear from the viewers on this incident.

I'm open for any comments and opinions.
