Greetings From Behind The Wire
7/31/12

The other day I took a walk around the compound. I saw the "good ol' boys" up in the guard towers with their high-powered rifles. You know, kind of keeping an eye on things. I checked out the 12 foot high silicone fences, topped with the 3 foot roll of razor wire. I heard the "pop, pop, pop... pop, pop!" and the "chk-chk boom!" of gunfire out on the range, as well as the yelping of the bloodhounds in their nearby kennels.

I went back to my dorm and made a note in my journal. I wrote: "The perimeter is secure. If the economy continues to spiral out of control, we should be able to keep the locals from trying to sneak in and steal our food." :D LOL

I'm pleased to hear all is as it should be! :D

Did you know Razor Wire is an Australian invention..? (you're welcome!)

Your posts are always so entertaining whilst they also build a sinister picture of your reality. I'm glad you seek the humor in every situation, I would imagine it serves as a savior to your sanity.

I'm actually here, as a friend first and foremost (I really enjoy what you write), but secondly as a part of an ethnographic study into a blog site for one of my classes. I would like to use this post as part of my next submission. Would that be ok..?
