The PG-13 Terrorist

Did you ever read a really good book and then be compelled to watch the movie? This is something that I have discovere as of late. It makes the movie so much more entertaining for me after reading the book. What I did now know was that this is a terrorist act. I recently read the book "The Kite Runner". I enjoyed it thoroughly. The book club I am in submitted the PG-13 version of the movie to the "Treatment Gestapo" here at the Shirley Gulag. After they brought in experts from the Third Reich, as well as from Nixon's "Dirty Tricks" squad and Bush's "Domestic Terrism" force, they determined that the movie could be spark the next American revolution. I'm sure the roster from our group, which contains the names of communist, socialists, anarchists, feminist, purists, realists, artists, enthusuasts, and many other kinds of "lists", has been submitted to homeland security in triplicate with attached 8" by 10" color glossy photos with circles and arrows. While I sit here on the group W bench I'm sure some covert operations expert from the CIA (present company excluded), the NSA, the ATF, FBI, or possibly, the IGA supermarket is deeming me a real, live literary terrorist. How dare we think we could watch such a subversive flick. To bolbly seek to learn about other cultures so that we can better understand them is too radical a concept for the dregs who rule the hate mongering gulags. The jackpot of the opressor (or in this case the well healed Prada slip-on) must be plaed squarely upon the cranium of the derilict prisoner who sels knowledge. We must not be allowed to loose the bonds of ignorance as we may then present a real and viable threat to crushing the insanity of the prison industrial complex. God save the Comminwealth of Massachusetts.

Tonight we sould just sit back, open our minds, and envision what the movie may have taught us. One thing is for sure we are better than those who wuld choose to destine our world to the madness of social oppression. In order to cure the errant we must expand his opportunities and horizons. The PG-13 Terrorist lives in all of us. Let's arm ourselves with the AK-47 of knowledge, at all costs, and rise above those who would see our ultimate demise. A demise which is symbolic of the world's eventual demise. Load a book into the clip and fire away! War is just a chapter away!
