Black Folks when will we rise above it all?
The world is not small.
Black Folks we are standing in the sand.
Right here on dry land.
Black Folks can we bring each other joy?
Life is not a Toy.
Black Folks please stop all the strife
there's no need for a knife.
Black Folks Wake-up and, see the Ligh.
Boy it sure is bright.
Black Folks we know the way.
So let's start Today.
Black Folks can be taught
If they are caught.
Black Folks aren't lames.
To any type of games.
Black Folks I hope one day they do the right thing.
Plus except all it has to bring.
Black Folks change your Heart.
That's a great way to start.
Black Folks God gives us Grace.
No matter what Race.
Black Folks we need to become Fond.
And begin to Bond.
Black Folks are very Daring.
Sometimes can be caring.
Black Folks can be Loud.
But, in all respect they are Proud.
Black Folks Loves Attention.
Did I forget to Mention?

"Greetings to the Public"! Here I come as one
Person. The other day, I was laying on the Bunk
in this cell. I couldn't believe how I heard the
African-Americans interact with one another.
Cursing each other out. Saying I'm send the co's at
your cell telling them you got Drugs. Threatening
to do Physical Harm to one another. Where is the
Respect? It truly breaks my Heart. I was in
this 6 by 9 cell here, I call the "Hot Box" And,
Heard all of this Foolishness on the Air-vent
inside the cell. Why Do we Do this? Because we
feel this is the correct way to communicate
with our black people. This type of behavior
takes me back to the slavery Days in the
1700's-1900's when the white man used and
Abused Negro's our kind. And, believe it or not
this treatment still exist today in some
countries just listen to the Radio or read
a Newspaper. Aren't you tired of being a slave
for the White man in the United States of
America? I sure am. Black Folks would rather
help a White man before He help His own
Race of people. And these are the same
people HATE you will beat and, kill you at
the Drop of a DIME! Another thing Chinese,
Japanese, Asians, Whites, Hispanics ALL these
Different RACES Help one another get along.
African-Americans Refuse to Except the
Picture we know and understand "The Truth"
but want live it Why? Because, our PRIDE
is in the way. Our President Barack H. Obama
is in office in Washington D.C. HE Demands
change for the People. Now what Do we As
Black Folks Demand?

My Question is this Are we going to
Stand like A stallion or Fold like
some Lawn chairs in a Front yard?
I choose to stand.
One thing I've come to Realize over
the years "Black Folks" Are there own
Worse Enemy just think about it
For a minute.
We have been living in this Fantasy
World For Centuries it's time for "our"
African-Americans to face Reality
Come on People.
Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Huey P. Newton
Harriett Tubman Civil Rights Leaders of
that Nature paved the way for "us" Today.
Now where you At? We got to carry it
on in The World As we speak.
Last but, not least Any Decision
we make in this "Life" Always,
Always follow our HEART it will
NEVER Lead us wrong. Our mind
will Play Tricks on us I know
Trust me.
And, we all HAVE been a victim
of this At one point in Time

We have to find liberation in truth, knowledge and forgiveness of our own ignorance. It's not easy when truth is concealed like all these prisoners behind bars. As each one teaches one, we teach ourselves.

I enjoyed the poem and hope to see more.
