Dear Deblegs,

Thank you for taking the time to work on the transcription of my post dated 10/15/12. For the most part, there's one thing that a man can do better than anyone else... and usually, that's understand his own handwriting. :D Thank you for making my "crypto Hebraic hieroglyphics" (my chicken scratch) recognizable.

I want you to know that although you posted your "comment" @ 10/20 - and Mr. DeTar had it "postmarked" 11/1/12 (dated 10/25), I did not receive it until this evening! (11/27/12) Whether that had to do with the storm (Sandy) or problems with the mailroom "holding" or returning my mail from BtB as unauthorized, I do not know.

Once again - I thank you for working on "Snapshots of Grace - Experiencing God Behind the Wire". The chance to share with others these "reflections" laid upon my spirit meant more to me than you can imagine.

I Pray

I pray that through my writing
I might touch the hearts of men.
To plant a seed that may lead,
Perhaps to being "Born Again".

I pray the spirit guides me,
Not just to amuse, or entertain.
But to open eyes to the prize,
For which the Lamb of God was slain.

I pray my words may comfort
Those who are feeling pain,
And help them to know the joy
Of counting loss as gain.

And then when my pen falls silent,
If any man should write my story
Let this stand out, without a doubt -
"He wrote to bring God glory".

Before moving on - I would like to let it be known that I have not been receiving the "comments" that might be posted. (Through no fault of BtB). It's the result of a "misunderstanding" in the mailroom as to what is, or is not "authorized" - hopefully it is an issue that will soon be resolved because receiving those "comments" are like being [illegible] a cool glass of water in an arid place.
