Hello! I've had the time to read through many of your blogs and I've found them enlightening. I'm fighting for my life and hoping to stay out of prison in the near future, but I am mentally trying to cope with the idea of having to do many years. I never thought I'd find myself in this situation, but here I am. I didn't know if I'd be writing this out, but figured you might like the communication? So here's a couple quick questions I'd like to ask.

How's the TV situation nowadays? Does one person control the channel, like a boss? What's the typical day like around that.

If you had to tell me the best meal you've had during your stay, what would it be? I've only heard horror stories about prison food and I'm not sure what to make of it all. Do you have any typical meals you indulge in that are available?

When you run things like a grocery store, what do you do w/ the money? I noticed you flipped things but I always wondered where the cash goes and if you could use it for things outside of canteen, say for like a lawyer or whatnot.

What facility are you located at now? I'm looking into different ones and if I find myself unlucky, am trying to remember what's what and where. Like you said, location, location, location. Hopefully you're able to find some light in the day.

How's the library? Can you get access to books from the outside world pretty easily? What's available inside?

Anyhow, I wish you many blessings and hope that you find moments of peace and tranquility in there. God bless and I hope to hear back one day, before it's too late.

Hola, Jesus!

I'm so glad to see that you're writing again! I wondered why I hadn't been able to find any recent stories or poems by you. Your work is just as beautiful and meaningful as ever! Congratulations!

I think of you often, always sending along my best wishes and hopes that you are doing well!

Best regards,
Ms. Renegar

Hey there! This is about your thoughts regarding Roe vs. Wade, in that you support women's rights to choose for an abortion. I'm in agreement with you.

The other thing that scares me about Roe vs. Wade being stricken down is that this also opens the unfortunate legal loophole for more capital punishment against women.

Let's say that a woman is being charged for assault. If she happens to be pregnant too, a prosecutor can use that against her by stating she placed her baby in danger. Without Roe vs. Wade's fine print, that unborn baby could count as a legal minor (depending on the state). That can be done regardless of whether she is found guilty or not. Imagine a scared and innocent woman defending herself against an abusive partner, but there is just enough circumstantial evidence to incriminate her anyway. Not only does she have the assault charge, it could count violence against her unborn baby too. So she's put away for two violent charges instead of one. Nasty.

Stay real, JJ. I wish the best for you.

This is Nick Cuevas' old lady. He mentions you often and told me to look u up. Your writing captures my interest. You must be intelligent. Fine line between a genius and a lunatic. I guess, if I had to accept dedicating my life to incarceration, I'd let my soul fly by filling up with an extreme emotion and go all out by killing folks. Hard to say. Anyway. Good talk
Nick says he loves you. I told him write you . You artwork much?
