Karen.........seems you are demonstrating a little paranoia or perhaps obsessing (would perhaps explain why you removed your last post).
SAH has been around much longer than I have and has a lot more invested in Mr. Clark. I believe she may be related to the first victim he was sentenced to death for. This was changed to life without parole. She is also rather sick of him constantly blaming the corrupt system for putting him where he is when he only killed 2 people on 2 separate occasions. Hell, he was almost at serial killer status if he hadn't been stopped. Now THAT would have generated some groupie attention.
It seems that you are the authority on what BTB is for. I would point out that it is a platform for inmates to create blogs online. These may be positive blogs that contribute to our understanding of them and their situation or people reaching out to the free world. These inmates invariably receive encouragement and understanding. Then there are those, like Mr. Clark, whose blogs are destructive and constantly complain about their situation (always blaming someone else)and confronting authority at every turn. According to Newton's Third Law this is bound to produce an equal and opposite reaction and to prohibit this is a direct attack on the rights conferred in the first amendment.
I wanted you to know that the strong, courageous young woman who posted to you, left a link to her photo.
She is beautiful. She looks eccentric (in an artsy way - just as she described). Almost a bit 'Marilyn Monroe-y' (that's how I see it ;). But much more interesting than Monroe - she is wearing a blue shirt and has lots of pretty rings on her fingers.
She is wearing a colorful hat.
She sounds like she is in a lot of pain right now, but I wanted to say that in the middle of all of that - and just looking at her picture - she looks so poetic and bright - like a brilliant ball of light.
I would like very much to wish you a belayed HAPPY BIRTHDAY!It is later, but not less in wishing you as a dear friend a fine future! Receive for this occasion many (((big hugs)))! Where and how are you??? Are you moved by now? I wonder?
I know you'll write me as soon as you can.Did you actually hear Martine liked our contact stopped?
The latest news from George is that they have now an expert to interrogate him. They have to pay the man good money! Only if they chose so. The man can make himself free at the end of Oktober at soonest? We'll know the result beginning of November.Well, they release more older men now.Visualize him as free, Kelly! Lets hope for the best! I just came home from dancing the Zumba, with young people. It's great and one sweats a lot!!
I read your kind introduction and I wondered why you didn't get more post.
You deserve better!
I guess you are a nice person, just to read your letter, Brandon. And you have interesting activities too.
Not everybody easily passes here, but I am. I am a penpal to two people here on the list. And write them letters as well.
Let me introduce myself first of all. I am Rita, a Belgian woman of 66,but with a young character and appearence. My two daughters are almost 34 and 35 years old. So that makes that you are younger then my daughters, but that shouldn't be an obstacle, isn't it? :)
My family lived for 7 yrs in America. Utah(3) and Ohio(4).Our two daughters studied 4 yrs in Ohio. The oldest became a dr in Biology and the youngest became a translater: Russian/English/Dutch. Later she got a diploma to be able to teach. She now lives in San Diego,CA, with 2 children. There she teaches Dutch to Americans. She was born in Utah. Our oldest has a baby of 9 months old and lives in Belgium. So do I.
I am divorced in 2007 (my ex and me are still befriended and he stayed in Argentina where we lived for almost 6 yrs) and my fiancé is in a prison in Illinois. After 47 yrs of imprisonment he could finally come out pretty soon. Lets hope!
He is an American and an activist. I shall tell you more about him later.
Brandon,I see you love to write and to write poems as well; so do I! I also read a lot! And I love/loved sports.
Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. Is recycling a word for something else? You've written a whole letter to someone you love about recycling. Suppose there's not much to write about in prison. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to reading more
It's nice to read these post and realize that you do have a conscience. However you may be different then these bullies you speak of, you too seriously harmed a child. By taking my father's life in what you justify as self defense has left me with a life time of hurt for which this type of wound has not healed nor will it ever heal. Stabbing someone over 18 times till the point they are lying there helpless and lifeless goes beyond self defense so PLEASE stop justifying your actions by stating you were defending yourself because one can defend ones self without taking a life.
SAH, I am really sorry for what happened to you. No one should be victimized. I hope one day you can recover. I am not sure how Mr.Clarks death will help you but be that as it may, I wish you peace. You state that it is not your intention to taunt Mr. Clark, however comments like you posted previously where you write you are going down dude appear to be taumts. That is not what BTB is for. Your writing style and choice of words sound very familiar hmmm. Paul??
you're going down, dude :) 21 years on the row...I'm thinking you should use your prolific writing skills and talk about the crimes (2) that put you on death row. Your warrant is close. Appeals exhausted (not a lawyer but my husband is)
