Wow! (Get it?) That sounds like a very moving anniversary you had! I'm not sure I could ever speak in front of those many people; sometimes stagefright gets the best of me. Anyway, I just want to graduate you truly, by God's grace, for what you are doing. I feel like we humans don't reach out and build fellowship with one another enough. Maybe we're all like Adam in some way, being ashamed of our faults. But all it takes is love and forgiveness, and our previous flaws are mended. Keep up the good work, and keep writing!

Hello Troy,

I have read a few of your posts. I find you very uplifting. To be in the situation you are in, as you say innocent and in prison for life and to be in such high spirits is amazing. I hope you keep the faith and positive mind as you face each day. I do not know if you are innocent or not but I have strong faith and when I read some of your posts I felt compelled to write to you. Look forward to writing you more.

I live in Canada, and have had countless pages missing from letters coming to me from my husband who is currently in jail, I never really put any though into the fact that the guards were the ones doing this. Thank you for opening my eyes to this fact.
Good Luck, Your Loved

Hey David,

My names Joe. You may not remember me but I found myself strolling down memory lane and you popped up so I decided to google your name. We were friends back when we were like 14. I've been reading some of your posts here. 14 years and seven left? Damn man. Sorry to hear that.

Dear Donny,
This is a wonderful haiku. You have said so much, even with very few words.
Thank you - I look forward to reading more of your work in the future.

Thank you for this beautiful poem! I, too, hope that prisons are one day a distant memory.

Thank you for this fascinating post! Incest provides an interesting case study for thinking seriously about liberty, and you raised questions that I will be thinking about for a long time.

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. Many of these books sound really good. This list gave me some new ideas of what I should read. Thanks for the list and I hope you update the list later on.

I just found the "Between the Bars" website today, and your post regarding mistreatment of mentally ill prisoners is one of the first I transcribed. It was definitely a hard read, but important for people to hear.

I'll definitely be following your blog. Thanks for writing.
