Polygamy anyone?

Recently I did a survey where I asked a number of people how do they feel about polygamous marriages. I received some very surprising and interesting answers. What surprised me was 6 out of the 8 people I asked said they don't believe in polygamy and it should not be legalized.
Why was I surprised? Because I asked these same, exact, people do they believe homosexuality or "same-sex marriages" should be legalized, and 5 out of 8 said yes. Keep in mind that I did this survey in a prison as I am serving a prison sentence. These men, which whom I conducted the survey on, while all were/is not gay, they all attempted to justify their positions.
Now let us pause for a few moments to take a look at what I like to call the NEW MIND-SET:
NO to polygamy. Yes to Homosexuality.
America, is there something seriously wrong with this NEW MIND-SET?
Polygamy has been around since the earliest of times. Many ancient, and medieval societies used it to assure survival of the race. Plus, it has the cheating husband is viewed as a "vow breaker", and "womanizer", etc... I've had a chance to reflect on these types of situations. And I've concluded that while the respect for one another should be equal, man and woman is not the same. If the wife cheats, she's regarded as a "slut" or a "w_____". The consequences are more severe. Why is that? Is it because men mainly shape society? And why is it that all over the world men control society? If it is natural for a man to be the leader or ruler of any given community and if polygamy has always been prevalent since the earliest of times, than is polygamy the natural way? Studies show that for every one male alive in the world there are four females alive in the world. Looking at this "photograph" from yet a different angle, seeing that there is (maybe) a shortage of men available to women, and therefore having lonely women out there, perhaps polygamy is or can be the answer to that issue.
I support polygamous marriages for a number of reasons. The main reason is, I've had time to study how it works. One thing is for sure, no one is being hurt. There's no pain involved if people respect each other as in any kind of relationship involving human beings.
If multitudes of Americans are being psychologically bamboozled into believing in "same-sex marriages" then how can America -honestly- say there's something wrong with polygamous marriages?

Think about it... .
