God Provides

Hello everyone. I just want to keep you updated on what God is doing in my life. Some of you may remember that several dudes decided earlier this year to spread some very nasty rumors about me and attempted to get a bunch of guys to jump me. I prayed for God to protect me and to forgive them and bless them and strengthen them so that the Devil couldn't use them against me anymore. Slowly but surely, most of them stopped messing with me and then a couple of them started going out of their way to help me and even feed me.

However, one of them refused to leave me alone and continued to talk about me and get someone to jump on me. One day, he was getting very loud and insulting and one of his own friends told him to shut up and leave me along or he would kick his butt himself. A couple of days later, he was moved. The next day one of his buddies came up to me and asked if could pray for me. Praise God.

Then the next day a new dude moved into the troublemakers bunk. He and I quickly became friends. He is a new Chirstian. So we fellowship about the savior and God. He went to commissary and blessed me with a pint of ice cream and a bag of coffee. Glory to God. Not only did he move the guy who was trying to cause me trouble but replaced him with a new friend who blessed me with a couple of things I don't normally get.

One day a couple of weeks ago, I ran out of coffee. I knew it might be a while before I got some more, so I took empty jar and I looked up and prayed. "Father, I love and trust you, and I know you will provide for me and I know that if you want me to have coffee, I will have coffee. And if I don't get any coffee, I will still love you and praise you no matter my circumstances." No sooner did I put my empty jar in my locker and sit my big butt on my mattress then someone slid a bag of coffee under my door and said, "Here, Donny. This is for you." God is so good to me, to us all. If we just trust in Him.
