Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. I definitely have your back! Usher has a great team this season, so he has a good shot at winning. I LOVE his coaching techniques!! (And his dimples!) If he were singing for the competition, he'd definitely win, but I guess it's up to the contestants on his team to pull through! Stay Strong!

The poem about your daughter was beautifully written:) You've found such a creative way to support your children while in prison. Your words, your love, and your example of making the best of a negative situation, are all such strong support beams. Stay Strong!

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. You're very creative, LeVar. I'd like to help you get your story out by sharing some of your pieces with kids at the school where I volunteer. And I know that when you are on the other side of the bars, you'll be reaching out and sharing your story to help prevent kids from making the same mistakes. Stay Strong!

Hey Ronald it's Cody the one who wrote to you about serial killers thank you for writing me back, I looked into Gary Ray bowels case and am trying to write him but if you do ever see anybody or talk to some one in there that can help me and she'd some light please tell them to feel free to write me my address again is 11615 purple mint 78245. I wana try to set up a phone interview with you but it's so hard but hopefully soon I can talk to you I hope everything is ok in there and this will be the last time I comment cause I will get some stamps this week. I found this other man named Dennis Nielson his case was very similar to Jeffery dahmer in the since of the way he killed and dismembered his victims. Dennis is still alive and serving a life sentence in England and hopefully I will be talking to him soon. Just by writing me back was a big help I hope I can be of some help to you I know stuff in there can be expensive so if you need some toiletries or something let.me know I'm getting a car this week so I will be mobile again and hoping to actually meet some of the people I want to interview I must sound crazy but this whole world of the way serial killers can be multiple people and do what they do fascinates me and this book will take the average person into there mind to let them see what they see and feel how they feel and let that person understand that serial killers have a very complex way of thinking and acting but thank you Ronald hope to hear from you soon and your poetry is really good it must be hard sitting there knowing what's to come but I love that you have faith in god and let that always stay strong god bless Ronald thank you

Carlos Brown,

Thank you so much for your beautiful poem about who I can only assume is your daughter, whom you miss very much. I am researching Alcatraz and stumbled on this prison poetry. I want to share your poem with my 7th graders; I hope you don't mind. I think the imagery is absolutely beautiful, and you have captured such a beautiful and vivid moment. Thank you for sharing.

Keep going, brother! I find the best way to do that, is to look back on what has happened, take the best lessons I've learend, and use them to move forward. I can tell you've learned a lot; you've learned more than most people today in America have: you've matured, actually. Take that strength and forge ahead. You've chosen crime before; that's the past, and it's over. Now is the present, and the future lies ahead. Choose a new life of forgiveness and resilience. Even when it gets tough, and you fall away from this new message several times (I'm talking from personal experience here), you can always start afresh and move on. It's like learning to ride a bike, or perfect a free throw shot: it takes time and many tries until you get good at it. After that, you might still mess up (miss the shot; crash your bike). But you know you have the skill, and these mistakes are just fleeting miss-haps. The same goes for changing your old life, and living a new one. Never give up! and keep writing! Talk to you later!
