Jesus! This is Jenee from Motivos magazine in Philadelphia. We received your letter and poems! Thank you very much! Our teen team each took a poem and read it aloud to the group. The teens really really appreciated that you took the time to send your poems and give us feedback on how the stories in Motivos impacted you and helped give you the words to encourage your niece.
Again, thank you for writing! We chose a few of your poems to publish in upcoming editions and will send copies to the address on your letter.
Is there any way you can send us a photo? We usually publish a photo of each author with their poem. If that's not possible, perhaps you can send a drawing to accompany your poem entitled, 'Meaning.' We'd like to publish that one in our Winter edition in January.
Also, the next time you write, please let us know how you prefer to be referred to in the byline with your poems. Usually we write the poet's name, some identifying characteristic like age or grade or occupation (maybe you could come up with something like 'poet between bars') or we could/should use your number? Let us know. Then we add city and state. We have that.
Thanks again SO much for writing us. The teen members of the magazine team and myself were really floored to get your letter. Your words encourage us to keep putting in the long hours and effort it takes to put the magazine together. To know how the stories impacted you, lets us know our efforts are worth it. We'll keep writing. You keep writing too! :) ~Jenee de Motivos
Thank you for writing. Honestly I'm not that big of a fan of Miley Cyrus' music personally, but it's nice that someone [yourself] is standing up for people.

I had to know."
Hopefully the joy brought by love will overcome any past hurts, I know it's possible.
Also I sometimes spell shield as "sheild" too, had to use spellcheck for that one!
