This one is fascinating. I loved the story. It's an annoying fact, but it does happen quite often. Such is the American government and the "American psyche."
You also bring up an interesting point about the cell phone laws. I didn't even know about the statistics until I read this post. Which would mean that maybe we don't need the laws? But...I imagine someone might bring up different statistics as proof that we need the cellphone laws. Either way, it's a bigger discussion than what's in this post. Time will tell whether we will keep them or not.

What a response. I hear you on the unhappiness bit. When society demands you to be "happy," it is rather difficult to hide the "unhappiness." In reality, though, being unhappy is part of being human, in my opinion. But I'm glad to hear there are parts of your life that make you happy.
