Learning from your mistakes is a huge step forward in life. Most of us keep doing wrong and never want to change. I read your post and sounds like you know what you want in life, that is a big step. I am still unsure with a lot things but I do know one thing, I am sure of the love in my heart for my 2 girls and my family. I listen to others and love to help when I can. I support those who need me and live with hope that some things will change.

Today is a world of pain for most. I have been reading blogs all morning and none have caught my eye. You seem so young to be were you are. I have no idea of the crime if there was one committed. I hope you hold your head up high and learn from the mistakes that brought you to were you are today. All we can do as human beings is grow and learn the best in what life can bring us. I loved the poem in wish I see light and comfort. Not many prisoners have that passion and confidence. it remind them that there still hope and that not all is lost. but most important believing in the one and only our creator. a lot of people might judge him but without him we are nothing. its not easy to go through prison but am glad that people like you look the positive way if life. This is sad.. It makes it even more sadder is that this happens to children everyday. I have a little girl and one on the way in the next couple of weeks, I could never imagine something like this to happen. I pray everyday that things will change. I know they wont and that is why life is so hard to understand.
